Monocle is a London-based monthly publication featuring political, social, cultural and global issues through in-depth reporting by its correspondents around the world. Launched in 2007 by Tyler Brûlé, Monocle has also offered a series of books, newspapers and a radio channel that runs 24 hours a day. Monocle also operates shops and cafés to reach out to more readers. Its advertorial contents, created in collaboration with many brands, have provided a successful and steady source of revenue for the comprehensive media company.
Shipping

All items are inspected and carefully hand-packed before dispatching. As with standard courier practice, you should check the contents of the parcel before signing for your goods. If you do not we can't be held responsible for any damage or missing items that may have occurred in transit.

The delivery time on all items is an estimate based on information provided by our courier partners and we will not be held accountable for late or missing shipments. A tracking number will be sent to you by email once your order has been shipped so that you can estimate when your items will arrive.

Your order may be processed in multiple shipments. In case of Multiple Shipments, multiple postings may appear in the Cardholder’s monthly statement.

International Shipping Duties and Taxes

Orders shipping to destinations outside the United Arab Emirates might incur duties and taxes. If duties and taxes are imposed on your order, they are due at time of delivery. Please consult your local customs office for more details about your country's duties and taxes. We are not responsible for any import taxes, duties, or brokerages fees which may be incurred on your international order shipment.

 

LOCAL accepts returns on items sold through either our Online Store or our stores.

Non-sale items must be returned within 30 days of original purchase date.
Sale items must be returned within 7 days of the original purchase date.

Any item(s) that have been worn or shown signs that they have been worn or have the original tags removed will not be accepted for return.

How to return an item

There are two ways to return an item to us:

- In-store

You return the product(s) directly to our store

- Return via courier

Arrange the return of the product(s) to the below address and on receipt we will process your refund.

Any item(s) that have been worn or shown signs that they have been worn or have the original tags removed will not be accepted for return.

Refunds

If your request for a refund was approved, you will be refunded through your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 working days for a refund to show in your bank.

Can I exchange an item?

Right now, we don’t offer exchanges on items purchased online. We recommend that you place a new order separately to your return.

Can I return a faulty item?

If you believe you have received an incorrect or defective item, please contact us via orders@localco.ae with an image and brief description of the issue.

Returns of incorrect or defective items will be refunded once approval is given from the relevant brand.
